Bunter

Hi,

My name is Bunter and I'm the son and brother of prize winning Burmese. But I'm just a normal scamp that ended up with two humans who really love me - most of the time. Since I'm still in my "teens" I get into quite a bit of trouble. I'm especially good at sticking my nose into open glaze buckets and trying to drink the throwing water. I've even been immortalized with my paw print in the bottom of a bowl when I stepped into the wet clay.

I'm named after Mervin Bunter who is Lord Peter Wimsey's gentlemen's gentlemen in the Dorothy Sayers novels.

I help out around the house a lot. I love the vacuum especially when I get my belly vacuumed. I also like riding on the mop. I try to make sure that everything is properly done by inspecting the washer and dryer as well as the dishwasher. Sometimes I don't think my slaves appreciate all the effort that goes into making sure there are no socks left in the dryer. Once she thought she shut me in the dryer - ha, boy was that funny!

I've developed my stealth abilities so such a degree that they put a bell on me! How humiliating! But it didn't take me long to figure out how to jump on the counter without making the bell tinkle.

As you'll see in a couple of my pictures, I also like to do office work and love to rearrange the desk. I especially love pens and pencils.

At Christmas time I got tired of waiting for Santa and had to take a nap. And "no" that isn't a bunny tail in the photo. When I'm really worn out from tormenting my slaves I really know how to relax as you'll see in my
"relaxing" photo.

One of my favorite things is to work in the studio. I'm performing a quality control inspection on a new piece in the studio photo.

I've yet to be able to get a paw print into a water color when my man servant is painting. But I'll keep trying.

I have a couple puppy friends who come to visit once in a while, but I really enjoy watching all the critters outside from my windowsill perch.
