Artist's statement:
This piece was the first in a series of "Dreamers". Using
the head as a canvas so-to-speak, I incorporate imagery that is drawn
from South Pacific carvings and body art, as well as my personal imagery,
to treat the surface. The dreamers are now evolving into abstract forms
rather than actual heads.
