            Artist's Statement
During the last few years porcelain pieces were being
made. They are decorated with a dry-ash-glaze on the exterior. The
interior is glazed with a standard high gloss glaze. This is done
to emphasize the contrast with the dry exterior. Pieces are always
partly glazed. This is done because I consider the character and
color of the body to be a important aspect of a piece of work. I
only make one of a kind pieces. On my website you can also find
technical information on how to develop an ash-glaze. I am always
interested in the exchange of technical experience.
