Images, illusions, light and form are the concerns in his present work and these are explored using various types of lustres, gold and silver leaf, enamels and etching on the surface of bowls, platters and vase forms.
Using coloured glazes as the base, the lustres vary and modify the colours. These lustres are made using gold, cobalt, bismuth and zinc in different combinations, creating illusions of colour and light that vary with each combination. The tones and colours change intensity with different light sources and viewing angles.
