Created by waving, undulating, stretched canvas textured surfaces, these forms impact the viewer with their visual relationship to fabric. The clay images vibrate with color, which is sprayed on to emphasize shadows and depth.
Both confusing and intriguing, these pieces appear to be fabric but are really clay. Although the colors and draped forms imply a softness, the clay is hard and rigid, visually deceiving us.
