I find myself particularly interested in landmarks and monuments such as Stonehenge, Celtic Dolmens, Inuit Inukshouks and natural formations such as Monument Valley in Arizona. I am affected, not merely by their enormous size, but by their sublime haunting presence. I would like my sculptures to encourage a similar contemplative mood in the viewer.
